Traveling with your pet? We’ve got you covered.

At Hot Springs Animal Hospital, we provide official health certificates for interstate and international pet travel to ensure your journey is smooth, safe, and compliant with destination regulations.

Where Can Your Pet Travel?

Whether you’re flying across the country or relocating internationally, our licensed veterinarians are authorized to issue the required travel documentation for your pet.

We provide health certificates for:

  • Domestic travel (within the U.S.)
  • International travel (including destinations requiring USDA endorsement)

What’s Included in the Health Certificate Exam

During your appointment, our veterinarians will:

  • Conduct a complete physical exam
  • Ensure your pet is up-to-date on required vaccines
  • Check for signs of illness or disease
  • Complete the necessary travel paperwork

Note: Some destinations require microchipping or specific bloodwork.

Schedule in Advance

Pet travel certificates often require preparation. We recommend:

  • 1 to 3 months in advance, depending on the destination and airline requirements.
  • Contact us early to ensure all steps are completed on time.

Appointments Required

All health certificates are provided by appointment only to ensure your pet receives thorough care and proper documentation.

Important Notes

  • It is the pet owner’s responsibility to check airline and destination-specific travel requirements.
  • Some countries require additional treatments or USDA certification – we can help guide you through the process.
